Where else can you hear Obama reference Sarah Palin, eating dogs, a jab at Huffington Post, Glee, Kim Kardashian, and YOUNG JEEZY?
Only President Obama, ladies and gentlemen.
Seriously though I thought this speech showed off his charismatic and funny side (which, then again, is always the point of any President giving a speech at WHCD, particularly so during an election year), and he was able to use his speech to joke about some actual headaches of the Obama administration (GSA scandal, Secret Service scandal, the birther issue, eating dog*), which shows he’s able to take it all in relative strive.
*Which some Republicans have made an issue (Obama referenced it in a 1995 book that he ate dog as a child) after Democrats made the story of Romney strapping his family to dog to the roof a big issue).
